Some Pizza-making Tips: ● If your dough is too elastic and difficult to work with, wait about 10 minutes and try again ● Brush a little olive oil on the dough before putting on topping to help prevent sogginess. ● Cook your pizza at very high heat. I often cook it on a stone at a pre-heated 500 degrees. Keep an eye on it though because it cooks quickly. ● At the half-way point spin the pizza to even out the cooking. You may even try adding the cheese at this point so that it melts without browning. ● Invest the $10-$20 in a pizza stone! You will get a beautiful crust. Always preheat it to high heat around 500 degrees. ● Try using shaved ham instead of pepperoni. ● Try throwing on some fresh herbs at the end when the pizza is out. ● Try cutting the cheese in small slices rather than grating it. ● Try replacing pizza sauce with straight tomatoes crush with your hands. ● The best pizzas are the ones with a few simple, fresh ingredients.
